The JCARA operates the W4ABR 2-meter repeater from Buffalo Mountain, on the south side of Johnson City. This is an Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) repeater. The receive frequency is 146.790 MHz (-) PL=off.
The club has it's 2-meter net on this frequency at 08:00 p.m. EST, every Tuesday night (except for the third Tuesday when the club meeting is held at the North Side Hospital - above).

The Washington County (TN) Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) Packet Net happens each Sunday evening at 08:00 p.m. EST. You can find it in the Johnson City area with your packet system on the JOCY digipeater on 145.630 MHz.
