Christmas Banquet
Ken Hart, N7JAS, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., December 7, 2004. This was our annual Christmas banquet at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Johnson City.
W4NHT - Distingushed HAM Award: Ken presented a nice Distinguished Ham Award plaque to C. V. Jayne, W4NHT, in recognition of his lengthy service to Amateur Radio and the club, most recently in the roles of Treasurer, Volunteer Examiner, and Repeater Maintenance Engineer.
ARES: Acting EC Washington County: Ken also announced that Mark Sutphin, KD4WGD, is serving as EC during the winter absence of Jim Holmes, K5OGF.

Let's start out the year on a good footing and set plans for the year ahead. Everyone is welcome.
Please bring your monies to sign-up for the Technician Class. The class with be $20, to cover your copy of the book ("Now You're Talking") and class handouts. Dates and times for the Technician training class will be announced.
